One of the leading names in Italy winning the World Cup 2006 supporter Pirlo was said excited to compete in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Speaking to the BBC, the player spoke about the duel with England for the premiere of Group D, which also has selections of Uruguay and Costa Rica.
- It was always a tough game, especially when it is during a World Cup or European Championship. It is the first game of the group stage, so it will be an important step. It is a tight and balanced key. Who will advance to have done better than others - said the Italian.
Asked what he thought of football flywheel StevenGerrard , one of the highlights of the Team Inglês, and its companion Azzurri striker Mario Balotelli , Pirlo was full of praise: - He (Gerrard) is a great player and is acting in high level for years. It is an important pillar of the English team and I'm sure it will make a good cup. He (Balotelli) is a good kid.Needs to show what he's worth on the field and the World Cup is a great opportunity for this - he stressed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Before the World Cup, Italy will still play two friendlies. First, the team plays against Luxembourg on Wednesday in Rome, and, as a result, against Fluminense on Sunday, now in Brazil. For Pirlo, the desire to do something good with the Cup selection is the same as eight years ago when they came out with the title. - I want to win and I will strive to the end. Some years have passed, but the will to do well and win continues. For a footballer, being in a Cup is the greatest accomplishment - closed
