After falling in game, the Dutch defender leaves hospital in RS

Defense should join the rest of the Dutch team, which has left Porto Alegre, but will be at least a week away from the lawns.

The Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi was discharged at 8:48 a.m. the morning of Thursday the Mother of God Hospital, in Porto Alegre, where he spent the night under observation. He was admitted to the institution after falling and hitting his face on the floor during the fourth match between the Netherlands and Australia, at the Beira-Rio, won by the Dutch 3-2. Defender passed the hotel and arrived at the airport shortly before 10h. He continues its journey to join the rest of the Dutch team, which left the city on Wednesday. 
Martins Indi eventually leading to worse in a split with striker Tim Cahill, Australia. In the bid, he fell with his face to the ground and had to leave the field on a stretcher and the neck immobilizedThe suspicion was that the player of 22 years had undergone a cervical spine injury, but according to a spokesperson for the Dutch Federation, it was just a concussion.

The doctor of the Dutch national team, Rien Heijboer, Martins accompanied to the hospital near the Beira-Rio. On leaving the place in the early evening, he said the player was fine. 
The defender, however, will miss the Netherlands in the World Cup. In a statement published on the official website, the Dutch FA said the Martins Indi must stay at least a week off the pitch. So he is out of the game against Chile next Monday. The coach Louis van Gaal lamented the absence of defender. In the attack I have several options, as Depay, Huntelaar and Kuyt. But in defense I do not have many options - said.
The play happened late in the first half and Australian striker who committed the foul, led yellow card. Indi was replaced by striker Memphis Depay few minutes later.
