No contact with fans, German team arrives in Salvador

Supporters go to the hotel in Salvador, but can not get closer to the idols. Germany trains in New Source on Sunday morning                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Lobby busy landing, but no fan in sight. There was no party at the landing of the German team in Salvador, this Saturday night. Instead of receiving the crowd, the Germans had left the airport and tranquility of the Bahian capital direct to the hotel where they will be staying until the debut in the World Cup against Portugal, Arena Fonte Nova, in a match scheduled for Monday. The support of the fans was only given at the entrance of the hotel.  A German delegation left Santa Cruz Cabrália at 19.20. The trip to Salvador, which included transport vans, and a short ferry flight lasted just over two hours. The landing was scheduled for 22pm, but before this time, the plane carrying the German team was already in soteropolitano soil.

Just over 15 supporters and sympathizers of the German national team stayed in the hotel to welcome the team. With shouts of encouragement, they managed to wrest glances and nods of players. But not more than that. Germany is in complete isolation in Salvador and the fans have not had a chance to get close to the athletes.

Upon arrival at the hotel, the cast gathered to rest. Germany has activities scheduled for the end of Sunday morning, when the reconnaissance work will be performed at the Arena Fonte Nova.

Schweinsteiger, who took a blow to his left foot in the activity closed to the press on Friday, left Porto Seguro with the team, despite having returned to feel pain at the site and have gone to a clinic in Eunápolis conduct more detailed examinations .
According to the DFB (German Football Association), he did not care for the result of the tournament, although the chances that commence in the reserve be higher. Toni Kroos and Sami Khedira become the most likely options to place alongside captain Philipp Lahm in the midfield.
