Neymar has more than eight times around the globe with the national team to go to the World Cup

Jefferson comes just behind the number 10 in distance, and William is the last. Learn the mileage of each player on route to debut in the tournament on Thursday                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              How many tours around the world need to take a player to reach the World Cup? In the case of the Brazilian team, the answer varies from just over one to nearly nine. Main star of the team, was Neymar who has accumulated more miles to get to the World (344,572 km). Jefferson is right behind with 310,590 km. And who rode less this journey was Willian, with "only" 47,074 km.

The math is simple. With reference to the equator, once around the Earth is 40,000 km. To find out how much each traveled with the squad, was considered the starting point of the first post-2010 World Cup duel, in August of that year, and as arrival, the last game before the convening of the preparation for the 2014 World Cup in March.

From August 2010 to March 2014, the Brazilian team went through almost every continent. Just did not play in Oceania. But it was in America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Lapped much of the world with its main stars and had to choose only 23 of them for the mission to conquer the hex, just in his homeland.
Neymar was the main traveler on this journey, with the equivalent of 8.6 times around the globe. There could be different. Since Brazil exited in the quarterfinals of the last World Cup, eliminated by the Netherlands, was automatically raised to the rank of national hope.
- In addition to being used to pressure since childhood, being in the World Cup was my dream. Now is the time! So I'll be thinking about pressure? It was a dream come true and now. I will enjoy, I'll be happy on the field - said the number 10, after the friendly against Panama in Goiania.

There is a curiosity in second place of the list of mileage Selection: he's reservation. Jefferson, however, has always been among the squad. Both were in Mano Menezes as this second passage Scolari for the national team. And the fact that he lived in Rio de Janeiro, destinations away from the games, contributed so much to go away.
David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Daniel Alves and Hulk, with absolute Scolari holders appear immediately following. Some of those who at one point been deprecated by Mano Menezes, but are bondsmen Scolari, appear in the intermediate zone of the mileage table of the Brazilian team. Are the cases of Julius Caesar, Fred, Hernanes ...
Below, completing the list are those that have been commonly used for only Scolari (Dante and Bernard) and appearing as a surprise in the final stages of preparation for the World Cup (Fernandinho, Maxwell, Henry and William).
- I would ask the fans that 23 players are very well received and treated as usual we were treated. And we all have a north to follow toward securing what we want: the hex. Be assured that they will do their best - Scolari said the commander at the time of the call.
Concentrated ten days ago, the 23 players summoned by Scolari traveled five times since the presentation last Monday, the Galeão Air Base: roundtrip Teresopolis Goiania, site of the friendly match against Panama on Tuesday (Paulinho, Thiago Silva and Fernandinho remained in Granja Comary), and São Paulo, where he faced Serbia, on Friday, and will debut at the World Cup on Thursday, against Croatia at 17h (GMT), the Corinthians Arena. TV Globe, SporTV and GloboEsporte.com transmit live. The site also monitors in real time.
