Modric does promise and designs debut

 against Brazil: "We are ready"

Real Madrid player wins award season at the Spanish club and sees "good environment" in Croatia, the opposing Team, which reaches Savior on Tuesday

Champion of the Champions League for Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric is presented later in the delegation of Croatia prepares for the World Cup. Even so, the player said he is ready to debut against Brazil on 12 June in Corinthians Arena.    

- We have to be strong as a team. Without this, it will be difficult to do something. We have the best environment that I remember. Will I have enough to play for Croatia strength. We are ready and we still have plenty of time until the first game - told the website "Global Post".

Winner of the award for best Croatian player of the year for the second time in his career, Modric said the honor has "special meaning" to count on votes of athletes and coaches in the country. The Real commented on the support the team has received.   

- People believe in this team. I promise I'll do everything in the field to make them proud.   

Selecting Modric travels to Salvador on Tuesday, with a stopover in Lisbon. In Salvador, the staff friendly competition against Australia on Friday. Croatia is in Group A and, besides Brazil, Cameroon and Mexico faces in the first round of the Cup.
